Ms. Cory

After 11 years leading the Kindergarten team at Aurora Academy, I am excited to join 2nd grade for my 12th year. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at The University of Texas. In 2015, I completed a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and I am currently working for a Master in Educational Leadership.

I have three amazing adult daughters; Rebecca, Brianna and Jessica! I coach indoor volleyball for AACS and a local club team. In my free time I enjoy crocheting, beach volleyball, camping and spending time with my family. 

I am excited to learn and grow together!


Mrs. Fields

This is my seventh year teaching 2nd grade. I love second graders! I graduated from the University of MN- Duluth with a degree in Elementary Education. I have a second degree from Concordia University- St. Paul. 

I have been married for eight years. My husband's name is Josh. I have a sixteen year old step son, named Zach. We love to go on mini-adventures, explore history, and learn new things together. I love to camp, read, and assemble Lego sets. 

I look forward to our second grade learning adventures this year!


Mrs. Gates

This is my 11th year at Aurora Academy. I have my masters in culturally and linguistically diverse education from the University of Northern Colorado. While I am originally from South Dakota, I moved to Fort Collins when I was 5, which is where I grew up.

I have been married to my husband Jason for 7 years. We have a cute pup named Roxy that keeps us busy. We love to travel and adventure together, with our newest hobby of scuba diving. I also love reading, which is how I spend most of my free time.

I am looking forward to a great year with all of you!
